Deborah came to Heritage English for an immersion study course to improve her English for communicating about Human Resources matters in her company on an international level. She was quite nervous about the intensive study program, not having studied English since university.
This is what she said at the end of one week of lessons: I’m feeling more confident. To be focused on my English during the whole week without work problems was a good way to improve my English. I learned with pleasure – and it’s the first time!!
The local area is beautiful and it’s a good environment. The lessons at the teacher’s home are without pressure. I enjoy meeting and having time with my host, Lynne, and all my teachers. I think this method is really good because lessons and “life conversations” are mixed together. To learn a language, both are necessary. This week I reviewed my basic English. I learn a lot of current words and expressions.
Photograph shows Deborah enjoying traditional fish and chips lunch at a New Forest pub with a glass of wine to celebrate the end of her training. We wish her every success in the future and hope to see her for a refresher in the summer of 2017
