The Cambridge First Certificate in English is an established Cambridge English Language Assessment examination.

It is a B2 CEFR exam (CEFR) which means:

  • You can express how you feel, your opinions and present arguments.
  • You can understand the news and some films!
  • You can write clearly
  • You can write letters, reports and other kinds of writing texts clearly

Why take the FCE?

  • It covers the main grammatical and lexical items for good accuracy and fluency
  • It is accepted for entry to pre-sessional courses ( a foundation year course)
  • It is accepted for under-graduate programmes taught in English in NON- ENGLISH speaking countries

What does the course involve?

  • Our 30 hour per week intensive course covers all five parts of the exam. The course covers all of the grammatical and lexical content that you must know as well as showing you HOW to do each of the exercises and HOW your exam is marked.
  • The course provides 30 lessons per week, allowing participants the opportunity to maximise their development in each of the four language skills as well as complete timed exam papers for total preparation.
  • Living with a host family in the UK and studying on an intensive FCE course gives you a huge advantage over other candidates for the FCE.
  • You are living and breathing English everyday whilst learning about the culture and daily life of England and the English – this helps with all parts of the exam!
