Our past students have found that a short intensive exam preparation course can make a big difference to their confidence and, most importantly, to their exam results.
Most students on such courses will have some self-study periods as well as formal tuition. However, we can arrange for students to take part in extra afternoon activities of their choice. See > Example of a typical day
Exams covered include:
The University of Cambridge
• First Certificate in English (FCE)
• Cambridge Advanced English (CAE)
• Cambridge Proficiency English (CPE)
• International Baccalaureate – Guidance in English Module
• IELTS ( International English Language Testing System)
• TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
• TOEIC (Test of English in Communication)
We are able to offer special discounts on all these immersion courses for more than one student coming at the same time.
These courses are popular and to be sure of a place, it is a good idea to book early in the year. > Booking a course

“First, let me thank you all for your kind welcome when I came to England. I enjoyed my stay and the way you teach very much. I'm eager to come back with my family in February.
I haven't completed yet the CAE Paper. I will send it to Gail as soon as possible. By the way Gail, I'm enjoying myself with the Audiobooks : the Agatha Christie one "Taken at the Flood" is great.
Susie, I enjoyed very much the evening we had at the "Red Lion". And I will never forget the DUCK RACE I have seen with Celia and Steve.”

Paola Moscatelli (19) from near Milan, Italy.
Paola has been to Heritage English three times now.
First time she came with her friend, Stephania. They practised reading comprehension texts for the Toefl exam. Then Paola came back in November 07 for a week with Gail, improving her writing skills.
Just a week before she took the exam in the Spring, she came for final exam preparation and had six very intensive days with Celia, working on the speaking and listening tasks for this exam.
This is what she said in an email to us after receiving her results in March 2008:
“Dear Celia and Gail,
I AM HAPPYYYYY !
This morning I had the score about the TOEFL Test that I take in March. My score is 71 - twelve points higher than my first test when I got 59 in September 07.
So in my opinion, Celia and Gail are the best teachers that I ever know
I'm very happy about my progress in Heritage English. Going to you was the best decision I ever made.
Paola Moscatelli”
